Hey Painkillers,
First let me apologize for the non updates this week. I could throw a thousand excuses at you all concerning school, stress and the sort but I’m not one who believes much in excuses. I will be honest, I’m kind of burnt out.
I love the T&P World, I love the characters, I love doing the comic. with that being said I am at a point where I dread starting a new page. I am putting too much expectation on myself, and in return I am not happy with the results. I know for some of you who have been around for the last three years, this almost seems to be old hat. This comic has been through so many changes and variances that for a new comer it is very hard to jump in and enjoy the story.
Now here is where the usual “I’m going on hiatus” part changes. I am NOT Going on Hiatus. But I am for awhile also not doing a comic. I will be using T&P along with Deviant art and some other places as a place to continue to improve my art and writing. This site will become my personal Art Blog, where I will be trying different things and experimenting. Most of it will still be T&P Based, characters and settings but the story its self will not be continuing, At least for awhile. I will be looking for new things to get involved in, and I will still be talking about and drawing the characters You’ve gotten to know and hopefully love.
Once again I ask for your patience as my life in Art evolves and changes. I really do cherish all of you and would love to hear from you.
So all in all I’m not going anywhere.
Good Travels,
Thorne

I have followed T&P for almost 2 years now and I’ve been with you thru the changes in the past, and as have I with other artists that I follow. Your approach to the hiatus is one that is very common, take the time off and enjoy your art again. Currently PCWeenies is doing that, and Rick the Stick who I promote religiously often finds the need to take weeks off each year to just rejuvinate and reset his mind set before pushing forward. One thing I can gurantee personally is that I look forward to seeing your Art evolve, to see your work updated, and for hopefully one day to get the story going again.
You do this for free for us, so we are ever so appreciative of your time and your talent and in the end it’s always going to be what is going to help you continue to grow as an artist. I hope the semester get’s better for ya and the stress that life throws at us calms itself in time. I’ll still be followin’ ya on twitter and lookin’ forward to what lies ahead for ya. Good luck sir and enjoy some time off.
Brad here of “FandB.” no not that Brad, the good looking one! (the one you talk too.) Getting burned out is normal. Take some down time, recharge the batteries and come back swing a mace for the face!
Ditto Brad, dude.
I want you to enjoy what you do! Drawing should not be a chore. (Remember to tell me something like that when I throw my knitting across the room in frustration. Or sewing. Or beads… you get the point) Taking a step back will give you a fresh perspective, and help you to focus your story and expand your skills. I know how much the comic means to you and whatever you need to do, I’m here to support you. Love you Baby!
Other projects…? Ideas…? Collaborations… hmmm?
